Hey! I’m Liz!

I’m an elopement videographer with a huge obsession with my dog, Taylor Swift, and sitting on sunny patios on warm days. I was born and raised in Colorado, and I love it here. As a filmmaker, I love to take a heartfelt approach to your day – I won’t boss you around or direct your every move. I get to know you, notice how you and your partner connect, and create a space for a meaningful experience.

And I’m Nina!

I’m an elopement photographer who moved to Colorado from Norway and fell in love hard with the Rocky Mountains. I’ve planned and photographed over 250 weddings and elopements, and as a queer-owned business it’s super important to me that ALL my couples feel celebrated on their wedding day. Liz and I bonded over midweek ski days and Taylor Swift, and we’re so excited to work together on these elopement packages!

how to elope at the Denver Courthouse

In order to elope at the courthouse, you do need to make an appointment 7 days in advance. You will need to bring both your ID’s, and $30 for the license.

Here are all the details

In Colorado, you can self-solemnize your elopement, or you can choose from the available judges to coordinate your ceremony. You can also have a friend or family member officiate. If you choose to have a friend or a family member officiate, we can send them an officiating guide!

After your ceremony, you will take your license back for recording within 35 days

Super simple!

FAQs

What days of the week can we elope?

Courthouse elopements are best during the week. If you are choosing a magistrate to officiate, they will have specific hours of availability, however if you are self-solemnizing or having a friend officiate, timing can be more flexible.

Do we need a permit to elope at the courthouse?

As your photo/video team we need a permit to work at the Denver courthouse, but we’ll take care of everything!

Do you include florals?

Yes! We want you to have beautiful florals, so we have partnered with our friends at Boulder Blooms to create whimsical and lovely designs for you! We just need to know what color scheme you would like, and what pieces you need (bouquets and/or boutonnieres), and we’ll handle the rest!

Can you help us with other vendor recommendations?

If you’re looking for vendors like a hair and makeup artist, private chef, or anyone else who can help make your elopement day special, we’d love to share our favorite inclusive vendors with you.

Can we still elope with you if we are not LGBTQ+ identifying?

Yes! We don’t discriminate here. Just know that this specific elopement package is designed to celebrate Pride month, but we are open to booking courthouse elopements during other months as well!

Can we elope during Denver Pride?

Ummm yes, absolutely! Please reach out to us ASAP if you want to elope during PrideFest! Pride is June 22nd 11AM – 7PM and June 23rd 10AM – 6PM and we would love to celebrate with you!
